Chippenham Home Guard - CHG website
The weekend after Weston-super-Mare - ie 30 June/I July 2012, I played at the Wiltshire Armed Forces weekend.
| FREE entry - displays from serving, ex and retired military personnel, cadet units, military vehicles, bands, trade stalls, old style fair rides, Forces charities, re-enactor displays from different eras, flypasts. Sunday - Parade of standards through town and Drumhead Service in Park. |
Such events generally include small units of re-enactors and this one raised more than £800 for charity. CHG is a friendly team and well worth a visit when you see the name at future events.
